21st lancers (Empress of India's)
Raised in 1759 as the 21st Light Dragoons, (Royal Windsor Foresters.) and
changed to the 21st lancers in 1897.

- 1914 - 1918, First World War, North west Frontier, India, 1915, 1916
The Regiment has been awarded four Victoria Cross, three at Khartoun, and one
during the First World war
